The LGBT Bar Association Foundation of Greater New York (“LeGaL”) is now accepting applications for its inaugural LSAT Scholarship to help defray the costs of a preparatory course and/or examination fees for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT).
As part of our efforts to promote the expertise and advancement of LGBTQ+ legal professionals, LeGaL is seeking to increase the pipeline of LGBTQ+ people entering the legal profession in New York. People who belong to multiple communities historically excluded from the practice of law are especially encouraged to apply. The recipient of the 2021 LSAT scholarship will receive financial assistance to take a LSAT preparation course of their choosing and will be given a premium student membership to LeGaL during their law school journey.
